    "content": "Hi all,\n\nJust a quick note to let everyone know of an automated rotor\ncombination that DOES work very well with Orbitron.\nI have a Dell PIII 650mhz computer with 1 serial, and 1 USB port running\nWindows 2000 pro.\nI am using the following....\n\nThe G6LVB tracking board.\nThe Yaesu G-5500 rotor.\nOrbitron Software.\nThe most current Wisp device driver.\n\nThe serial port controls the radio frequency for Doppler correction, while\nthe USB port is connected to the G6LVB\ntracking board. The G6LVB tracking board uses either a standard serial port\nor the optional FTDI USB adaptor which\nsimulates a serial port as far as the computer is concerned. I'm using the\nUSB option.\n\nJust wanted to give everyone a heads up on this. You DON'T\nhave to buy an expensive satellite tracking program such as Nova or\nwhatever, to have automation.\n\nAgain, \"hats off\" to Sebastian for his KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) approach\nto the software.
