"content": "In the year(s) that the sun cycle is to be on the upswing, how about one\nthat scans the HF beacons and records signal strength of the various beacons\nand satellite location on a daily basis. Then a year later see if any\npropagation events such as storms etc., affected the signals in space by\ncomparing space wx data with signal reports. You could just use 28 MHz\nNCDXF/IARU beacons\n\nJust an idea.\n\nGL and 73\nGreg\nN3MVF\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On\nBehalf Of Roger Kolakowski\nSent: Tuesday, February 06, 2007 7:23 PM\nTo: [email protected]; [email protected]\nSubject: [amsat-bb] Re: RX only satellite?\n\nI like the noise pollution map on a single frequency...as Bob likes 145.825,\nthat sounds like a good one to me...a timer combined with a signal strength\nindicator should provide quality information if the orbit is stable...\n\nRoger\nWA1KAT\n\n----- Original Message ----- \nFrom: \"Robert Bruninga\" <[email protected]>\nTo: <[email protected]>\nSent: Tuesday, February 06, 2007 12:28 PM\nSubject: [amsat-bb] RX only satellite?\n\n\n> There may be a Satellite opportunity for a ham radio RX only\n> payload.\n> No TX allowed.\n>\n> Any ideas?
