"content": "I have a existing 50' HF tower with 40m on up.\n\nI am now trying to place a 33' tower for VHF on up. the tower will have a\n10' VHF pair of antennas as well as a pair of UHF antennas on it (for\nsatellite EME and other goofing around)\n\nhow close is too close? running the higher quality coax needed will be\nharder the farther from the shack I get due to physical building issues.\nAlso the closer I can have it to another building the more helpful it will\nbe to my ongoing antenna work. this puts me at a location about 12' from\nthe existing HF tower.\n\nwhat are the pro's and cons of locating a 30' VHF with a 10' array on it so\nclose to the HF antenna array?\nwhere should I locate the tower ideally?\nI have a 1/4 acre lot so I dont have unlimited room .. otherwise its a no\nbrainier...\n",
