"content": "\nHi Dave,\n\nI start the \"hanging\" part of the cable a bit out on the cross-arm, about a foot away from the tower pole. Seems to work. The attachment to the cross-arm is a loose loop, so that the arm can rotate with Elevation, without torquing the cables. Admittedly, my \"tower\" is a bit simpler than yours, but you can probably scale things a bit (hang them farther out on the arm).\n\nhttp://home.wavecable.com/~ko6th/IMG_0023b6.jpg\nhttp://home.wavecable.com/~ko6th/IMG_0141b.JPG\n\nGreg KO6TH\n\n\n> From: [email protected]\n> To: [email protected]\n> Date: Tue, 15 Mar 2011 08:20:13 +0100\n> Subject: [amsat-bb] I: M-Squared Yagis\n> \n> Hi Dave,\n> Take a look here\n> \n> http://www.arimodena.it/Members/iw4dvz/antenne/iw4dvzs-antennas\n> \n> 73\"\n> Frank IW4DVZ\n> \n> \n> \n> Hi group- I'm installing my 2MCP22 and 436CP42 U/G antennas and find that the\n> coax is hanging up on the Rohn tower sides near my G-5500 rotator plate.\n> How are folks keeping the coax away from the tower sides and hanging up?\n> \n> Springs?
