My name is Myrton. My call sign N1GKE.\n\nI am spearheading the Broadband Hamnet -RI- with operators from all \nacross the spectrum.\n\nWe are still in the building stages. The will be a Symposium at the \nKnight Campus of CCRI.\n\nKnight Campus is easily accessed from Route 95 North or South. Symposium \nstart time 10 AM.\n\nThe date is April 27 th, the last Sunday of April. We can accomadate \nupwards of 100 people.\n\nI for one have already begun with the help of Russ (KB1SYA) to assemble \na station from spare\n\nparts in the 2.4 Ghz range. I will have at least one dedicated station \nfor this GEO-SAT with plans\n\nfor NTS, EMCOMM or any other Amateur Radio Service that may be needed to \nserve the North\n\nEast United States.\n\nThe Symposium is open to all, that means everyone, Amateur Radio \nOperators, Satellite Enthusiasts\n\nand anyone interested.
