Names have now been\nassigned to KKS-1 and PRISM (amongst\nothers).\n\nSeveral days ago I was copying KKS-1 and\nPRISM with significant separation in time. \nSuddenly the new keps have them orbiting\nmuch closer. Since I copy in FM I have to \ntranslate a recorded signal on audio software.\nThis morning I copied (per the new keps) what\nI thought was KKS-1 and then switched over to\nPRISM. I experienced \"fading\" on both birds. \n\nLater \"translation\" of the first CW signals revealed the \nfollowing: \n\n609/01/2403:17:00\n609/01/2403:17:00\n609/01/2403:17:00\n,,,,, etc etc. \n\nThis data does not resemble previous KKS-1 \nbeacons I have copied although the time and \nfreq. appears very close to the new KEPS. \nCertainly, I will continue to investigate but perhaps\nsomeone already knows the answer/s??\n\nMahalo for your kokua (Thanks for your help)\n\nRespectfully,\nrobert, NH7WN \nHonolulu\n", "attachments": [] }
