I have all the equipment in house (g5500 rotor, antennas, radio,\ninterface, and cables) and can have this up and running in an afternoon -\npossibly this weekend.\n\nNow as most of you are probably aware, the LEO pack contains a 4x4 on VHF\nand an 8x8 on UHF.\n\nWhat if I wanted a bit more, meaning what might be the next step up in\nterms of a VHF and UHF circular polarized yagi?\n\nI'm also working with a 3ele 6m yagi under the elevation rotor, but I'm not\nopposed to pulling that down to make room for center-mounted booms.\n\nI'm asking because, while I'm leaning back towards satellites, I'd like to\nretain at least some ability to work terrestrial. The 4x4 CP on 2m ssb\ncertainly seems like a step down from what I'm working with now (7x7 xPol\nyagi) - I'm not looking for parity, just a slight improvement over a 4x4.\n\nAs always thanks for your insights and wisdom in advance. See on you on the\nbirds real soon.\n\nCheers,\nLou\n\nW2LMM\n\n<https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail&utm_term=icon>\nVirus-free.\nwww.avast.com\n<https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail&utm_term=link>\n<#DAB4FAD8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2>\n", "attachments": [] }
