I currently use DXKeeper, part of the DXLabs suite\nto do my logging. I chose DXKeeper because it works well with LoTW and\ndoes an excellent job of reporting.\n\nAfter some thought I chose not to interface the logging program with the\nradios or SATpc32. I did not want the headaches of port sharing software.\nMore than than that especially on the FM birds contacts happen so fast real\ntime logging just gets in my way. Rather, I keep a list of contacts as\nthey happen on paper and then log after the fact.\n\nFor other uses I have DXKeeper tied to the radio either directly or with\nCommander (part of the DXLabs suite) or FT8 via JTAlerts but for the\nsatellites the manual method works just fine. Uploading to LoTW (and eQSL\nif you want), ClubLog and QSL management and reporting is a breeze.\n\nJohn K4SQC\n\n\n\nOn Fri, Mar 22, 2019 at 9:30 AM Bob KD7YZ <[email protected]> wrote:\n\n> So I have a K3 which \"generally\" Rx's on VHF mode (Downlink)\n>\n> And I have an IC910 which therefore is usually on xmit on the UHF side\n> (Uplink).\n>\n> And invariably I am using, and quite happy with SatPC32 to control the\n> two radios.\n>\n> And the latter is done with the help of VSPE to make some virtual serial\n> ports.\n>\n> So what program(s) can I use to be able to LOG the xmit and the Rx\n> frequencies, the Calls, the locations of the guys ... and also\n> upload/download/match, from LOTW ?\n>\n> ....and as a by product, keep track of Grids Countries and the like?\n>\n> Contesting of any form is not needed.\n>\n> thank you\n>\n> --\n> 73\n> Bob KD7YZ\n> AMSAT LM #901\n>\n> _______________________________________________\n> Sent via [email protected].
