    "content": "I have had good luck with the Olympus VN120.  It has a\nvariable mic setting and I use it with an Icom\nhandheld.  I purchased it on eBay I believe for less\nthan $20.00.\n\nI use patch cords from the handheld audio to the\nrecorder and from there to the earphones.\n\nEach recording session is a seperate folder so you\ndon't have to listen a long time.
