"content": "Hi Howard and all,\n \n yes I replaced the display with one bought in a different store and built from a different company. Which one? Very hard to say.....\n The first (with 000000 problems) has the LCD withe and blue and numbers in the back are 1602 01A 2002, the second (working well) has the LCD black and green and... no numbers :-(\n \n Hope this helps\n \n 73 Fer IW1DTU\n\nHoward Long <[email protected]> wrote:\n Hi Fer\n\nDid you replace the LCD with the same device model or a different one?\n\nIf it was a different model, could you let me have the details of the old\none so I could check to see if the Tracker works within its specification?\n\nMany thanks.\n\n73, Howard G6LVB\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On\nBehalf Of Fer IW1DTU\nSent: 02 February 2008 16:53\nTo: AMSAT\nSubject: [amsat-bb] LVB tracker display problem - solved\n\nI changed the 2x16 LCD and now LVB works fine.\nThanks Howard and all for advises\n\n73 Fer\n\n\nHello\n\nWondering if someone can help.\n\nI just finish to build an LVB tracker for a friend of mine. All works fine\nwith NOVA but during a satellite pass the display stuck as in the picture:\n\nhttp://it.geocities.com/supertrackmoon/lvb_display.jpg\n\nAll other functions are OK and the tracker is still tracking the\nsatellite. A quick restart (power off / power on) and display works again\nbut after some minutes it is again stuck. It seems just only a display\nproblem.\n\nSame behavior with other satellites passes. \n\nI built a couple of LVB units and I have been using an LVB tracker with\nNOVA for years without problems.\n\nAny ideas ?\n\nFer IW1DTU\n\n\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
