"content": "Ken,\n\nIt really is simple, if you are working full-duplex. Just\nrecord the RX audio. You get the full exchanges, since\nyou will hear yourself and the other stations. A splitter\non the speaker of the radio receiving the downlink can feed\naudio to a recorder and headphones/earphone/earbuds you are\nusing to hear the downlink.\n\nFor working HF or working satellites half-duplex, I just use\na recorder that picks up the radio's speaker audio and my\nvoice with its microphone. Then I get both sides of those\nQSOs.\n\n73!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPatrick WD9EWK/VA7EWK\nhttp://www.wd9ewk.net/\nTwitter: @WD9EWK or http://twitter.com/WD9EWK\n\n\nOn Thursday, May 17, 2018, Ken M <[email protected]> wrote:\n\n> Hello AMSATers,\n>\n> I'm looking to record both TX and RX audio to a digital recorder, either\n> at the QTH or in the field (but mainly in the field), in either of two\n> common scenarios:\n>\n> 1.
