"content": "I found it not to be too bad. Once configured the N3FJP software makes it\nvery easy (even if you operate from multiple grid squares). Getting started\nright is the key! I have about 5 years of logs in as well. I had 22 unique\nmatches for satellite operations. It was nice to see the k6yk and w6gmt\nconfirmed from multiple grids.\n\nPretty much all you need to know about doing it right can be found here: \nhttp://www.arrl.org/files/file/LoTW%20Instructions/N5JB.pdf\n\nIt was also neat to notice I could create a VUCC total for any grid I had\noperated from, or any callsign I have used (John you were they only one that\nshowed up under my old ks5z callsign). I have started a project to place\nall of my logs (25 years) in LOTW. It will be interesting to see how many\nAO-13 or RS-10 matches I get. \n\nThe other thing I have noticed is my percentage of QSLs keeps going up. At\nthe moment it is at 40%, but I suspect putting all of those old logs in will\npush it way down.\n\nI also notice HO-68 and ARISS are on the satellite list, but SO-67 still is\nnot!\n\n73,\nJoe kk0sd\n\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On\nBehalf Of k6yk\nSent: Thursday, January 13, 2011 8:30 PM\nTo: [email protected]\nCc: [email protected]\nSubject: [amsat-bb] Re: VUCC & LoTW\n\n \nWell, it's not that easy... \n\nYou need to have (at least) all the \"regular\" QSO info. \nThen you need to have the following in your ADIF: \n\nExamples: \n\n<sat_name:5>AO-27\n<prop_mode:3>SAT\n<band_rx:4>70CM\n\n\nI have some (not all that many!) satellite QSO's confirmed on LOTW\nfor the DXCC countries. I've been sending in my logs for about 5 years.\n\n73,\nJohn, K6YK\n\n\nOn Thu, 13 Jan 2011 18:02:10 -0800 \"Ted\" <[email protected]> writes:\n> \n> \n> Boy, after playing with this on LOTW, we may need an 'owners \n> manual'.
