Nothing heard on the\nprevious pass and VK's report nothing on the next pass so something seems to\nbe turning Delphi off before it gets down this way. Unfortunately all\nascending node passes (Today 9:45pm local and 11:22pm local) are all well\ninto eclipse so we only see a couple of descending node passes in the\nmornings here. Having only heard the one pass it seemed to be in what the\ncontrol team described as \"emergency mode\". I had good sync lock but no\npackets and it certainly sounded much different from the Demo file which\ndecodes perfectly.\n\nI guess we just keep monitoring and waiting down under!\n\n \n\n73\n\nAlan\n\nZL2BX\n\n \n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] \nSent: Wednesday, 30 April 2008 01:14\nTo: [email protected]\nSubject: Re: [amsat-bb] Delphi c3\n\n \n\nHi Alan.\n\nI think you're right. Even the teams own news pages say that they have\ntrouble in the morning asending passes, while the evening passes here in\nEurope are all fine.\n\nPossibly a squint problem, but my feeling is that it could be the software\nlatching up after half a pass or so. \nI note that the evening passes here are all just after exiting eclipse and\nhence the satellite is 'reset'\n\nWhat are the ascending passes like with you?\n\nThanks\n\nDavid\n\n \n\nOnce again nothing heard from Delphi over NZ on the 2041UT 36deg fully\nsunlit pass. Good signals from SEEDS, CUTE1.7 and even chirpy COMPASS.\n \nI note that stations reporting no signal today are all reporting on\ndescending node passes while good signal reports are once again reporting on\nascending node passes.\n \nUnless Delphi is turning off Southbound best guess would be an antenna\nsquint effect. Are any stations reporting reception on Southbound passes?\n \n \n\n\n\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: Alan Cresswell <[email protected]>\nTo: [email protected]\nSent: Tue, 29 Apr 2008 22:01\nSubject: [amsat-bb] Delphi c3\n\nHi\n \n \n \nOnce again nothing heard from Delphi over NZ on the 2041UT 36deg fully\nsunlit pass.
