    "content": "\n        Sat operators: When I started in satellites in the 1990,s.things \nwere different.\n                                 They had a person that sort of monitored a \nlot of satellite passes\n                                  and conversations.\n                                 He was a ham that operated sats too.\n                                 What he did was sort of police the \noperators,\n                                   When you used too much power he sent you \nan e- mail.\n                                 I believe the rule of thumb  to operate on \nthe satellite is\n                                 never use no morepower on the uplink than \nyou have on\n                                 the beacon signal downlink.\n                                 So when  he became a SK we didn,t have any \nbody to monitor\n                                our QSO,s.\n                                 Maybe you old timers can remember his call.\n                                  Maybe we can have comments from the real \nold satellite operators.\n                                    Jerry w0sat \n\n",
