    "content": "I just received this email from Amazon as I have been the administrator \r\nwith Amazon for our Smile account. I would personally like to thank all \r\nof those who over the years purchased products from Amazon and \r\ngraciously selected AMSAT as their charity of choice.\r\n\r\nSince 2013, I placed 521 qualifying orders amounting to $130.30 being \r\ndonated to AMSAT as of 01/17/23. In total from all of you, AMSAT was \r\ndonated $9,366.77 as of 11/30/22.\r\n\r\nAs we have roughly one month left for your purchases to count for \r\ndonations to AMSAT, let's go out with a \"Smile\". Let's give it a last \r\nhurrah. However, after almost a decade, the \r\nprogram has not grown to create the impact that we had originally hoped. \r\nWith so many eligible organizations—more than 1 million globally—our \r\nability to have an impact was often spread too thin.\r\n\r\nWe are writing to let you know that we plan to wind down AmazonSmile by \r\nFebruary 20, 2023.
