I seem to recall years ago that for broadcast stations you needed to supply a log of what was on the air (song list, discussion topics, etc.). Otherwise, you could get cards from every call in the book.\n\nIt may sound harsh, but if I get a card for someone not in my log, I keep it with a note as to my conclusion, but do not send a reply. Fortunately, I think it's only happened once or twice. Several times, however, I did find their call scribbled on my desk pad, but they weren't in the log because I didn't think we had a complete exchange. If their QSL info is correct, in those cases I give them the benefit of the doubt, and send a 2-way confirmation.\n\nGreg KO6TH\n\n\n> From: [email protected]\n> To: [email protected]\n> Date: Thu, 12 Mar 2009 22:33:27 -0500\n> Subject: [amsat-bb] Re: QSL Etiquette\n> \n> You could always send a QSL confirming only his receiving you (like an SWL \n> card on HF: strike out the \"2-way Mode\" section & write in \"SWL\")...\n> \n> George, KA3HSW\n> ----- Original Message ----- \n> From: \"Ian\" <[email protected]>\n> To: <[email protected]>\n> Sent: Thursday, March 12, 2009 3:21 PM\n> Subject: [amsat-bb] QSL Etiquette\n> \n> \n> >I was wondering what others may be doing when they receive an\n> > \"questionnable\" request for a QSL.
