    "content": "I had intermittent terminations of the USB link of LVB Tracker using the \ninternal LVB Tracker USB to serial port adapter header with SATPC32 . I \ntried many different configurations to resolve and it pretty much failed \nduring every satellite pass at least once when I tried to use it.\n\nI would have to close SATPC32 and close ServerSDX manually , turn off \nthe El-AZ controller power and then back on to reset the USB link, \nrestart SATPC32  and then it would work again till the next USB link \nfailure. It occurred randomly, but often enough to be a problem.\n\nThis occurred with three different computers running Win-XP, Vista and \nWindows 7.\n\nAs others have suggested, I replaced the USB adapter header assembly \nwith a MAX-232 and now use an external ATEN USB to serial adapter.\n\nI have had no problems with LVB Tracker for over a year since doing \nthis.
