"content": "S-Band is heavily utilized by LEO satellites as well as more distant\nobjects such as the LRO.\n\nOne excellent place to start is:\n\nhttps://uhf-satcom.com/satellite-reception/s-band\n\n... and as for specific objects and frequencies that I have personally\nreceived, there are very strong signals from the following:\n\n2232245000 - Tiangong-2\n\n2245680000 - numerous CartoSat satellites\n\n2242500000 - numerous known & unknown satellites, a popular TT&C downlink\n\n... TLEs for the first two are available and the signals are extremely\nstrong. Activity on 2242.5 is hit & miss - some sats don't transmit on\nS-Band 24x7, so it's just a frequency that you can monitor for random\nactivity if nothing else is around.\n\nHope that helps!\n\n-Scott, K4KDR\n\n===========================================\n\nOn Mon, Jun 3, 2019 at 12:38 PM Richard Ferryman via AMSAT-BB <\[email protected]> wrote:\n\n> Does anyone know if there are any satellites using 13cm for downlink,\n> probably for telemetry.
