I send a \"Hello\"\ngreeting with some information, typically my grid square, directed at\ntheir callsign.\n\nIf they respond to my callsign acknowledging and providing additional\ninformation, I usually consider it a contact. I gave him something.\nHe gave me something.\n\nI received 18 different callsigns via the ISS yesterday on a single\npass. I tried to respond to several of them, but never saw a\nresponse.
