    "content": "Hi all,\n\nListening to some of the recordings over North America/Europe is quite\ninstructive and seems to conform to a consistent pattern.\nStation A transmits and holds in the transponder without problems.  Station\nB begins transmitting but drops out two to three seconds later when the\ntransponder tail ends.  On rare occasions two strong stations seem to avoid\nthe problem and I suspect this may be because their carriers overlap and\nSO-67 sees a continuous carrier and does not trigger the transponder tail.\nThis may be a technique to avoid the dropouts.  Station A holds the carrier\non for a second after a call and station B may be able to overlap with A's\ncarrier and avoid the dropout.  Perhaps worth a try.\n\nAlan\nZL2BX\n\n\n",
