    "content": "The Icom 910H and 9100 radios have a combined RF gain and squelch knob. The\nchoice of settings are:\n\n1.  \"rF/SqL\"  RF gain and squelch controls are combined for SSB/CW mode.\nActs as squelch control for FM mode.\n\n2.  \"Auto\"   Acts as a gain control in SSB/CW mode and a Squelch control in\nFM mode.\n\n3.  \"SQL\"   Acts as squelch control for all modes. RF gain is set to\nmaximum level in this setting.\n\nI'm tempted to choose the last option which sets the RF gain at maximum.\nThe default is number 1. I'd like to find something that works without\nadjustment when switching back and forth between FM and SSB satellites.\nWhat option are you using?\n",
