"content": "\nI read a posting somewhere that said that because of eclipse AO-51's\ndownlink power would be progressively decreased and then increased over\ntime. I am unable to find information on what the UHF FM Downlink power has\nbeen set too since the end of May 2008. The reason this is off interest to\nme is that up until the beginning of June I was able to easily hear and work\nthe bird at above 40 degrees, using an M2 Eggbeater antenna, with minimal\ndrop out. Now even on the highest passes reception is very poor. I get\ngood reception on all other satellite beacons so I know the station is\nworking properly. Can anyone tell me what the ouput power curve was during\nthe June time frame.\n\nThanks,\n\nBrien\nKE7WB\n\n",
