    "content": "It seems to me (presumptuous since my only satellite activity is reading\nthe group!) that most of the responses suggest causes that would not be\nso sharply defined as Bill's observations.  He says \n\nEither 0.7 degrees\nOR 4-5 degrees\n\nnot a continuum of values.  I would have to ask if there is any\ncorrelation with day of week, local weather conditions (also a continuum\nof values) or AO-7 mode immediately prior to the mode it is in when the\nobservations are made (IIRC the mode can switch at random).\n\nCan a correlation be made between the elevation at AOS and the signal\nlevel at nearest approach?\n\n73\nPete K5GM\nAMSAT LM.\nPete Jordahl, K5GM\[email protected]\n\n",
