"content": "Hi!\n\nI am planning a quick road trip to a point near the Arizona/Mexico\nborder tomorrow (Monday, 15 September). I will be in grid DM31\nfor at least the two AO-27 passes around 2046 and 2227 UTC, subject\nto local weather conditions and law enforcement (heavy police and\nBorder Patrol presence in that area). I might stick around for an\nAO-51 pass Monday evening, around 0132 UTC, before making the\n3-hour drive back to Phoenix. If there is a safe place to stop\noff the highway, I *might* be able to park on the DM31/DM32 grid\nboundary. Otherwise, it will be just DM31 for those passes.\n\nGrid DM31 is mostly in Mexico, except for the northeast corner of\nthe grid that crosses into Arizona. A portion of a military\nbombing range, Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, and the border\ntown of Lukeville AZ in Pima County are in that corner. I've heard\none station from that grid, on the Mexican side of the border, in\nJune 2006 via AO-51. Others have told me it has been several years\nsince other stations have tried the satellites from either side of\nthe border in DM31.\n\nIf we make a contact, I will send you a QSL. No worries!\n\n73!\n\n\n\nPatrick WD9EWK/VA7EWK\nhttp://www.wd9ewk.net/\n\n",
