I was wondering what experience people\nhave had with the \"new\" AzEl rotator? (The\nhttp://www.alfaradio.ca/alfaspid.html web page calling it the \"new\" rotator\nwas last updated in 2003, so that is probably any relatively recent\npurchase.) Doing the Google and checking eHam picked up a lot of\ndiscussion, but mostly of the standard Az rotators. The reports are mostly\nhighly positive, with a small minority complaining of flimsy electrical\nconnectors and gears. The latter seem to apply to older units. The M2\nunits are certainly impressive, but physically large enough to be a problem,\nas well as being pricey.\n\nTNX es 73s,\n\nAlan\nWA4SCA\n\n-----------------------------------\n\nThere is something fascinating about science. \nOne gets such wholesale returns of conjecture \nfrom such a trifling investment of fact.\n\nMark Twain\n\n\n", "attachments": [] }
