"content": "Hello Bruce, David and Francesco,\n\nI have been accessing AO-51 digital side daily for the last few weeks. I am \nusing 20W, 50 feet 4XL coax into 4 element 2M Yagi, tracking in AZ only, \nfixed elevation at 25 degrees. Downlink is 10 element 70cm Yagi with ARR \npreamp at the antenna. This setup will work well for AO-51 digital and all \nof the active amateur satellites. I am using SatPC32 to do the Doppler \nshift on the radio, but if you have a discriminator meter in your \ntransceiver it is easy to keep the downlink centered.\n\nI have noticed that there are not many stations in the queue, but more \nmaking requests (I see the OK and callsign).\n\nWith GO-32 back in operation you should be able to check out your system. \nGO-32 has a stronger downlink than AO-51, but Bruce's original question was \nabout the uplink. I have been quite successful in requesting files, \nuploading and downloading files the last few weeks with the above system.\n\n73,\nGould, WA4SXM\n----- Original Message ----- \nFrom: \"David M0ZLB/KG4ZLB\" <[email protected]>\nTo: <[email protected]>\nSent: Thursday, December 21, 2006 4:55 PM\nSubject: [amsat-bb] Re: I: AO-51\n\n\n> Haven't managed to get into it, or heard anything out of it, for some \n> time!\n>\n> Thought it was me :)\n>\n> David\n> M0ZLB/KG4ZLB\n>\n> JO01ht\n>\n>\n>\n>\n> ----- Original Message ----- \n> From: \"Francesco Grappi\" <[email protected]>\n> To: <[email protected]>\n> Sent: Thursday, December 21, 2006 9:35 PM\n> Subject: [amsat-bb] I: AO-51\n>\n>\n> Hi Bruce, Ke0lx\n> yes, over Europe there is some problem ..\n> noise level sometime is so high ..\n> Francesco IW4DVZ\n>\n>> -----Messaggio originale-----\n>> Da: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]Per\n>> conto di [email protected]\n>> Inviato: giovedi 21 dicembre 2006 22.02\n>> A: [email protected]\n>> Oggetto: [amsat-bb] AO-51\n>>\n>>\n>> Anyone else having trouble uploading to this sat?\n>> Bruce ke0lx\n>> _______________________________________________\n>> Sent via [email protected].
