OK, I may not be a hi-fi fanatic and never owned\nspeakers bigger than my car but on the average, they were about equal.\nSometimes one seeming better than the other but never to the point I could\ndefinitely say it was the antenna. Passes are different, trees come in the\nway, general conditions vary, etc...\n\nI'll end up putting the Elk with a horizontal rotator on a mast and use it\nthis winter, from the shack.\n\nAmir Findling, 73 de K9CHP, member ARRL, AMSAT #36083\nCoordinator, Senior K9 Handler Western NY SearchDogs, Inc.\nhttp://www.wnysearchdogs.org/\nK9 Certification Tester, NYS Federation of SAR Teams\nhttp://www.nysfedsar.org/\n1st Special Response Group (1SRG) http://www.1srg.org/\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On\nBehalf Of Fabio Roccatagliata\nSent: Wednesday, September 27, 2006 5:04 PM\nTo: [email protected]\nSubject: [amsat-bb] Arrow Antennas\n\nDear OMs,\n\nI was wondering if arrow antennas are the only portable antennas\navailable on ham shops or other similar products are/were available.\n\nAny other suggestion for a simple V/U portable antenna to use for\nhandheld or portable operations ?\n\nThanks\nFabio\n\nIZ1EGT / F5VKV\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
