    "content": "Dear Friends,\n\nI am a little hazy on the exact details\nas it was a while ago but I remember seeing\nthe 1938 film \"Nancy Drew - Detective\" based\non the book of the same title.\n\nNancy and her boyfriend Ted get locked in\nthe cellar of an old house by the bad guys.\nThey cannot get out but looking around,\nthey discover an old wireless spark-gap set.\nThey get it working and transmit their\nlocation in morse code. The spark-gap\ntransmitter causes interference to\nevery radio in the neighborhood and\nsomeone realizes it is morse code and\ndecodes the message. The police come and\nsave them from the cellar and they\nhelp to find the bad guys.\n\nGood thing that so many people knew\nmorse code back then :)\n\n73,\nTony AA2TX\n\n",
