    "content": "Hi Dave,\n\nAre your sure your talking about the right OSCAR?  Maybe OSCAR-10?  The \nreason I ask is OSCAR-9 was a telemetry only satellite with no transponder \nso I think it would be tought to make a QSo through it. :)  OSCAR-9 was \nroughly the same as the currently orbiting OSCAR-11.\n\nIf I recall correctly, Vern \"Rip\" Riportella used the Chicken Little concept \nand turned it into a contest with quite a few partaking in it.
