It has simultaneous receive, but\nit can't TX and RX simultaneously, so you would need a second radio to\ndo full-duplex.\n\nFor me the FT-2DR works fine, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're\npicking an HT for satellite use only (because it's expensive and most of\nthe extra features are useless for satellite).
