    "content": "Ryan, Charles, Mark, Don, everyone:\nThank you; I look forward to making lots of new friends in this (new to\nme) venture.  I have (other places) found internet coordination helpful to\nchat with stations in other DXCCs, finding out when their work schedule\nallows them to be QRV, etc.\nI’ll watch the below N6SJV link and Twitter (thank you)!  Obviously I want\nto respect the various resources guidelines and keep traffic appropriate\nfor the venue.\nIf anyone discovers an even better way to identify who is currently active\n(realizing LEO footprint limitations) on satellites from various DXCC\nlocations, I’m all ears.  (also US states toward WAS, etc.)?\n\nI’ve already seen a few announcements of hams operating from great DXCC\nlocations which is highly motivating me to get on the air!\n\nCurrently I am trying to buy a ring-rotor for an existing 45G tower\nbecause I have to get above a 52’ high line of trees to see the horizon.\n \nAntennas are purchased (not yet built). MacDoppler is running great and\nI’m learning a lot.  If I understand this right, I can configure\nMacDoppler to take care of Doppler shift (will computer-control the\nradio).  I realize I must listen to beacon level and set my Tx power\naccordingly (to not be an alligator)..   I’ve been reading lots on the\nAMSAT website also.\nI’m a moon-bounce guy so no stranger to weak-signal work.. Looking forward\nto this.  73..
