I am sure it has something to do with\nthe frequency turning. Next time the bbs in up, I will try it again.\n\n As for the deviation, I have use this same rig and tnc with GO-32 and AO-51\nwhen it was in V/U mode. The deviation seems to be fine. I will listen\nagain and verify this with my HT. Service monitor is not available. Lost it\nin Katrina.\n\n I really miss using the bbs. Love to download the pictures and talking\nwith friends around the world.\n\n Anyhow, thanks again for the tips.\n\n73\n\nAngelo\n\n\n----- Original Message ----- \nFrom: \"Colin Hurst\" <[email protected]>\nTo: <[email protected]>\nCc: \"Angelo Glorioso\" <[email protected]>; \"Andrew Glasbrenner\" \n<[email protected]>\nSent: Friday, February 19, 2010 6:36 PM\nSubject: RE: [amsat-bb] Re: New Control Software\n\n\n> Angelo,\n> Further to Drew's comments I would confirm the 1268.703 uplink.\n> One further hint besides deviation and frequency, is to set the TXDelay to\n> 1000 milliseconds.\n> This will ensure all the switches or relays in the system have settled\n> prior to issuing the uplink packet.\n> If you find this to be the \"issue\", reduce the TXDelay in 50 or 100\n> milli-second increments till you have reliable acks.\n>\n> When AO-51 was flipped and favoured the Southern Hemisphere I was able to\n> get acks from horizon to horizon and rarely did it double request.
