I avoided this issue for at least a year until now, as\nI had to add another radio.\n I did a search for all occurrences' of SatPos.SQF I found the offending\nfile, did an edit, but the edit wouldn't stick as I couldn't quit the\nprogram properly(with a proper quit) as the SatPC32 window was still off\nscreen. What I figured out I had to do, was change the SatPC32 shortcut\nstart properties to start maximized. After the program came up, I then saved\nit with a quit. Then changed startup properties back to a normal window.\nThen restarted SatPC32 and positioned the window where I wanted it to\nstartup and then did another quit. I had to do this for configurations 2, 3,\nand 4. I'm running XP , never configured a second monitor, I have no idea\nhow this happened. Thanks for all the help. All is once again good in KB2M\nsat op land :-)\n\n73 Jeff kb2m \n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: Erich Eichmann [mailto:[email protected]] \nSent: Saturday, December 10, 2011 1:49 AM\nTo: Jeff KB2M\nCc: [email protected]\nSubject: Re: [amsat-bb] SatPS32 off screen window\n\nHi Jeff,\nif you have at least a part of the program window on the screen move it back\n\nwith the mouse to the position you want. Then close the program from the \nmenu \"File\", \"Quit\". That will save the last screen position. Closing the \nprogram with the \"x\" control will not.\n\nIf the window is completely off the screen, change the two first entries in \nthe text file \"SatPos.SQF\" in the SatPC32 DATA folder, for example set both \nvalues to 0. The window will then be positioned in the uppler left corner of\n\nthe screen.\n\nThe data folder is hidden by default. So, make all files and folders visible\n\n(Explorer- Tools - Folder Options - View). The path of the folder depends on\n\nthe OS, under XP it is C:\\Documents and Settings\\Username \\AppData\\SatPC32, \nunder Vista and Windows 7 it is C:\\User\\Username\\AppData\\Roaming\\SatPC32.\n\n73s, Erich, DK1TB\n\n----- Original Message ----- \nFrom: \"Jeff KB2M\" <[email protected]>\nTo: \"'Amsat BB'\" <[email protected]>\nSent: Friday, December 09, 2011 11:59 PM\nSubject: [amsat-bb] SatPS32 off screen window\n\n\n> Has anyone had a SatPC32 problem where the program opens in a window off\n> screen.
