    "content": "\nCall for Papers: 15th Annual Southeastern VHF \nSociety Conference, Huntsville, Alabama\nThe Southeastern VHF Society is calling for the \nsubmission of papers and presentations for the \nupcoming 15th annual Southeastern VHF Society \nConference to be held in Huntsville, Alabama on \nApril 29th and 30th, 2011. Papers and \npresentations are solicited on both the technical \nand operational aspects of VHF, UHF and Microwave \nweak signal amateur radio.  Some suggested areas of interest are:\nTransmitters\nReceivers\nTransverters\nRF Power Amplifiers\nRF Low Noise Pre Amplifiers\nAntennas\nConstruction Projects\nTest Equipment And Station Accessories\nStation Design And Construction\nContesting\nRoving\nDXpeditions\nEME\nPropagation (Sporadic E, Meteor Scatter, Troposphere Ducting, etc.)\nDigital Modes (WSJT, etc.)\nDigital Signal Processing (DSP)\nSoftware Defined Radio (SDR)\nAmateur Satellites Amateur Television\nIn general papers and presentations on non weak \nsignal related topics such as FM repeaters and \npacket will not be accepted but exceptions may be \nmade if the topic is related to weak signal.  For \nexample, a paper or presentation on the use of \nAPRS to track rovers during contests would be considered.\nThe deadline for the submission of papers and \npresentations is March 11, 2011.  All submissions \nfor the proceedings should be in Microsoft Word \n(.doc). Submissions for presentation at the \nconference should be in PowerPoint (.ppt) format, \nand delivered on either a USB memory stick or \nCDROM or posted for download on a web site of your choice.\nPages are 8 and 1/2 by 11 inches with a 1 inch \nmargin on the bottom and ¾ inch margin on the \nother three sides.  All text, drawings, photos, \netc. should be black and white only (no color).\nPlease indicate when you submit your paper or \npresentation if you plan to attend the conference \nand present your paper in person, or if you are \nsubmitting solely for publication.
