    "content": "You are completely right Jerry, an exchange of call signs and acknowledge from\nboth stations is needed for a successful QSO, but we need to keep in mind\nthat satellite contacts are performed on tight time period and the signals\nfrom the birds are not all the time clear enough to copy 100%, as you\nget experience working on the sats you familiarize with most of the every\nday operators and then you began relaying on equipment like a recorder that\nhelp you analyze the audio and if you were not able to copy the call at the\ntime you contacted that station you probably will have a better reception of\nthat station on another QSO going on, but we all were inexperienced\noperators once and missed a couple of call because of that reason, a little\nhelp is always of great support and we all can give new station the\nopportunity to enjoy this wonderful hobby.\n\n73's Larry KI6YAA\n\nOn Tue, Nov 9, 2010 at 5:32 AM, <[email protected]> wrote:\n\n> I may be hated for this but I have to ask, if you make a contact and you\n> get the call wrong so you would not get a QSL card because you can't mail\n> the right person is it really fair to use another medium to search out the\n> correct call in order to secure the contact for award reasons?
