It's just outside of Copper Harbor. Don't try driving\nthere with a motorhome or 5th wheeler. Look for Brockway Mountain Drive,\njust outside of town. They don't like folks doing satellite work in the\nparking lot at the top of the mountain. But just ask the folks in the store\nat the top and they will let you know where you can set up. Give yourself\nsome time to check the view from there and keep an eye out for some of the\nbig lake boats that travel there.\n Another suggestion is to try the broiled lake trout at the Harbour Haus\nRestaurant in Copper Harbor.\n73 de Doug KA8QCU\n----- Original Message -----\nFrom: \"Michael Rudzki\" <[email protected]>\nTo: <[email protected]>\nSent: Sunday, August 01, 2010 19:00\nSubject: [amsat-bb] Re: K8E in EN57 and EN67 (was no subject)\n\n\n\nDamon,\n\nIf you were on AO-51 this afternoon/early evening, the callsign was K8E. We\nare in\nEN57 (Eagle Harbor, Michigan) for the week and are planning to travel up to\nEN67\none day this week. It's supposed to rain on Monday, so that may be out.\n\nI am using two HTs and an Arrow Antenna. I don't use FM sats that often, so\nI take\nit SO-50 and AO-51 are my best choices, since HO-68 is in SSB/CW mode this\nweek.\n\nQSL via N8MR, if you want to confirm.\n\n73,\nMike, N8MR\n\n\n\n(no subject)\n----------------------------------------------------------------------------\n----\nSubject: [amsat-bb] (no subject)\nFrom: wa4hfn@xxxxxxxxxxx\nDate: Sun, 1 Aug 2010 22:39:14 +0000 (UTC)\n----------------------------------------------------------------------------\n----\n\nOK what call is correct K8E or K8EEN AO51 pass@22:16appx\nWA4HFN\n\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
