Make sure that the CAT \ncable works on Windows 7 and 8, see the reply of Mike, W4UOO.\n\nWhen the program starts the radio with the first of the two addresses \nwill run as the RX.\nIn menu \"Radio Setup\" check the option \"Autom. RX/TX Change\". The \nprogram will then automatically change the roles of both radios as RX \nand TX. when you switch between u/v and v/u sats and you don't need to \nswitch the 2m/70cm antennas between the radios.\n\nLeave option \"Satellite mode\" and all other options in the menu un-checked.\n\n73s, Erich, DK1TB\n\n\nAm 30.07.2014 14:09, schrieb Tom Warren:\n> Hello to the group……..\n>\n> Does anyone have the specifics on how to setup two IC706 MKII-G’s for satellite ssb/cw operation (duplex).\n>\n> I’ve done a bit of browsing and read the manual but remain confused on the hardware needed when using\n> my Compaq laptop (no serial port), only USB’s.\n>\n>\n> Any advise would be appreciated.\n>\n> 73\n> Tom\n> W4TMW\n>\n> \n>\n> _______________________________________________\n> Sent via [email protected].
