When still\nexploring the Potentiometer solution, because of space requirements and\nother factors I was pricing out multi turn potentiometers. For the gearing\nratios I needed, I required about a 5 turn potentiometer, which at least\naccording to digikey and the quick search I did, priced to about $20.00\napiece. The MEMS Magnetometer (HMC5883L) and Accelerometer (MMA8452Q) each\nprice out to less than $20.00 each on sparkfun, so I'll actually be saving a\nfew bucks.\n\n \n\nThat's the plan, at least for the first iteration.
