"content": "Richard,\n\nThat usually happens when the name of the satellite in the DOPPLER.SQF file\ndoes not EXACTLY match the name of the satellite in the source of Doppler\ninformation. For instance \"AO-51\" vice \"ECHO (AO-51).\" The Keps\ndistributed by AMSAT all use the standard designations, but many of the\nother sources have other information in the name line. One way to solve\nthis is to look at the AMSATNAMES.TXT file in the Auxiliary Files section of\nHelp, \"?.\" It allows SATPC32 to identify the satellites from their official\ndesignations and use the common name.\n\nAlan\nWA4SCA\n\n\n-----Original Message-----\nFrom: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On\nBehalf Of Richard Ferryman\nSent: Sunday, January 23, 2011 3:03 AM\nTo: [email protected]\nSubject: [amsat-bb] SatPC32 Cat doppler problem\n\nI find SatPC32 is failing to read doppler information for some satellites\nalthough the doppler.sqf entry seems correct. The CAT window show no CAT\ndata and the 'Data Line' at the bottom shows the last line of doppler.sqf.\nAny ideas?\nThanks de Dick G4BBH\n_______________________________________________\nSent via [email protected].
