"content": "Hallo Danny,\nthe TS-2000 sub tone function works also in satellite mode (I have a \nTS-2000). You need a firmware update. If I remember correctly it was the \nlatest.\n\nTo steer the sub tone function via SatPC32 you need the following entry in \nthe file SubTone.SQF (the file can be opened and edited from the menu \"?\", \n\"Auxiliary Files\"):\n\nSO-67,233.6,$01,36\n\nThe decimal value 233.6 is used by the Icom radios and the Yaesu half duplex \nradios FT-817/857/897.\nThe 2nd value (hex. 01) is the Code of the FT-847 for a 233.6 Hz sub tone.\nWith the FT-736R it would be $20.\nThe 3rd value dec. 36 is the code of the TS-2000 for a 233.6 Hz sub tone.\n\nIn Doppler.SQF I have the following data line for SO-67:\n\nSO-67,435345,145875,FM,FMN,NOR,0,0\n\nThe frequencies are the latest I read on AMSAT-BB.\nThe new program version 12.8a supports also FMN mode with the TS-2000.\n\n73s, Erich DK1TB\n\n----- Original Message ----- \nFrom: \"ON5UE\" <[email protected]>\nTo: <[email protected]>\nSent: Saturday, November 14, 2009 2:38 PM\nSubject: [amsat-bb] How configure a TS2000 for SO67\n\n\n> Hello sathams.\n>\n>\n>\n> I've tested and found out that CTSS tone in a TS2000 in sat-mode can't by\n> set.\n>\n> Neither via a satprogram.\n>\n>\n>\n> But how to configure the TS2000 to work SO67\n>\n> Set sat mode off\n>\n> Set split off\n>\n> Set the main VFO for uplink 145.875MHz\n>\n> Set to FMN mode\n>\n> Push the CTSS button and CT must appear in de main VFO display.\n>\n> Push sequelly FUNC and CTSS/SEL button and select 233.6kHz by turning the\n> MULTI/CH knob\n>\n> Push sequelly FUNC and CTSS/SEL button again to enter the CTSS tone.\n>\n> Push the SUB button.\n>\n> Push the CTRL button so the CTRL-indicator appear on the VFO B display.\n>\n> Select the 70cm-band by using the + and - buttons.\n>\n> Set to FMN mode\n>\n> Press the 1MHz button en use the MULTI/CH knob to adjust.\n>\n> Finaly use the tunerknob to finetune the frequentie 435.345MHz.\n>\n> Make sure the step is 5kHz.\n>\n> Turn down the MAIN AF.\n>\n> Turn up the SUB AF.\n>\n> Listen with a headset so there is no sing arround when you transmit.\n>\n> Use less power as possible.
