    "content": "Hi Chris\n\nIMHO Pacsat interest decrease at same\nrate internet connections increase.\nBy early 90's, electronic messaging was\nsomething new, and not available to ordinary\npeople, like us hams.\nBut now we can do it almost anywhere in the\nworld, for an infinite fraction of the price,\nwith minimal equipment.\nWe no longer need radios, antennas, pre-amp,\naz/ev rotators, trackers, PC running 24h, etc.\nNo more need to wait for a 15 min pass,\nstay in queue, miss our turn, go back to the\nend, and wait for the the next pass for the\nremaining 1 kb to complete the file...\nYes, it was fun (specialy to built and leave\nthe station working unatended), but those days\nare over!
