This is due to\nthe antenna's S11 loss being around -1 rather than -10. This is for the VHF\nband for which we are using an antenna 17 cm long, thus such high loss. The\nlength can not be increased much and so is the case with the\nelectronics(power amplifier) as we are restricted by other constraints.\nWe would love to hear some of your suggestions so as to how can we still\nincrease the transmission power meeting all these requirements. And if not,\nwhat can be done on the Ground-Station to improve the reception.
