    "content": "Hi Bob.  I don't have an eggbeater antenna, however a friend of mine  \n(NL7VX) has a couple, since he's not able to put up beams, and he's  \nvery happy with them.  He uses them on the FM birds, as well as the  \nSSB birds.\n\n From what I hear, the consensus is not too good on the Icom preamps.   \nI have some old Mirage preamps that are great.  I hear the SSB  \nElectronics ones are also excellent.
