"content": "Hi Steve,\n>>AO-51,435300,145880,USB,FM,Nor,0,0,Voice V/U\n\nLooks like you have your uplink/downlink modes reversed\n SO-50,436795,145850,FM,FM,NOR,0,0\n\nSatellite Name - Name matching the name in the Keplerian Elements file\nDownlink Frequency - True frequency in KHz on which the satellite is \ntransmitting\nUplink Frequency - True frequency in KHz on which the satellite is receiving\nDownlink Mode - emission used for this satellite on this downlink frequency\nUplink Mode - emission used for this satellite on this uplink frequency\nTracking Mode - whether the uplink and downlink frequencies track in normal \nor reverse mode\nDownlink Offset - downlink offset in KHz (see Section 5 below)\nUplink Offset - uplink offset in KHz (see Section 5 below)\n\nWhile the have the correct uplink/downlink frequencies listed, each radio is \na little different and using SatPC32 to control your radio Doppler will \nnecessite tweaking these numbers slightly.\n\nBe sure and read the section in the SatPC32 Manual & FAQs under CAT on \nadjusting your offset. The FM downlink is easy to adjust by looking at your \nDiscriminator meter reading on your receiver (if you have this feature).\nThe uplink calibration can be set in steps of 10, 100 or 1000 Hz with the \ncorresponding up/down controls in the \"CAT\" menu. The 10-Hz steps can also \nbe set with the \"normal\" +/- keys, the 100-Hz steps with the +/- keys of the \nnumeric block of the keyboard.\n\nOnce set and stored you should be able to click on this mode under CAT and \nyou will always be good to go.\n\nHope you enjoy this mode.\n\n73,\nGould, WA4SXM\n----- Original Message ----- \nFrom: \"Steven Raas\" <[email protected]>\nTo: <[email protected]>\nSent: Sunday, September 16, 2007 11:18 PM\nSubject: [amsat-bb] AO-51 V/U SSB/FM Mode\n\n\n>I luckily have the day off of work tomorrow, and I will actively be trying\n> this mode.
