"content": "The old Cushcraft 144-20T CP antenna (Part of AOP-1) used Gamma Match on \nboth phased yagis, on a common boom. This wasn't the greatest antenna in \nthe world, it suffered precipitation static discharge because of the \nGamma Match being ungrounded, among other mechanical deficiencies. But \nit did seem to have acceptable circularity, good directivity and plenty \nof gain I suspect the problem may be in achieving identical phasing \nbetween antennas. A phasing problem will affect circularity.\n\nSee tuning discussion in the archive:\n\nhttp://www.amsat.org/amsat/archive/amsat-bb/200107/msg00595.html\n-- \nJoe Leikhim\n\n\nLeikhim and Associates\n\nCommunications Consultants\n\nOviedo, Florida\n\[email protected]\n\n407-982-0446\n\nWWW.LEIKHIM.COM\n\n",
