    "content": "Thanks to all that responded to my question concerning the Kenwood TS-2000\nand 9k6 packet.\n\n \n\nSpecial thanks to Jean Marc (3B8DU) for his menu selection list.  \n\nI was not setting menu item 56 correctly.\n\nNow I can see the data in the hs_soundmodem waterfall.\n\n \n\nUnfortunately I was not able to decode packets even with excellent passes\nwhich I believe is the result of an inadequate antenna setup and rain that\nwas heavy at times.\n\nI'm in an area with a lot of foliage some of which are southern pine trees\nwith needles that are natural attenuators at 70cm, especially when wet.\n\n \n\nThanks again and we'll be back next weekend.\n\n \n\nJim McCullers\n\nWA4CWI\n\n\n\n",
