"content": "Hi Joe, \nMany stations do not have the grid printed on their cards. I also\ncollect counties, and many don't have the county, either. \n\nBut it is OK to look them up and write it in PENCIL on the back\nof the card. I think that's in the ARRL's rules for VUCC. I got credit\nfor\nall of those that I had to find it and write it myself. \n\nAlso there are a lot of folks that still don't know what grid they're in!\n\nThat's probably OK if they're at home, but it they're out portable\nor mobile it could be a problem trying to figure it out later.\n\n73, good hunting! \nJohn, K6YK\n \nOn Thu, 24 Jun 2010 07:02:31 -0500 \"Gary \\\"Joe\\\" Mayfield\"\n<[email protected]> writes:\n> Stan,\n> \n> What would you do with cards that only have the grid of the \n> respondent?\n> Living in South Dakota I get lots of QSLs, and my grid is well \n> displayed on\n> the card, but I have never bothered to look the other guy's grid up \n> and put\n> it on the card. \n> \n> I figured he put his grid on his card and I put my grid on my \n> card.....\n> \n> 73,\n> Joe kk0sd\n> \n> -----Original Message-----\n> From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] \n> On\n> Behalf Of Stan, W1LE\n> Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 2010 2:56 PM\n> To: [email protected]\n> Subject: [amsat-bb] Re: What is the proper way to fill out a QSL \n> satellite\n> card\n> \n> Hello Yanko,\n> \n> For VUCC satellite credit I want to see on the QSL card:\n> 1. the word \"sat\", or \"satellite\", or the actual satellite like \n> AO-40\n> 2.
