They have a different category of users.\n They are interesting mainly for QSOs, firstly. \nSo, it's definitely a \"bore job\" for this kind of\npeoples to capture the TLM, when at the same time they\ncan do \"exciting\" QSOs through the Satellite.\n\n On the other hand a \"stand-alone\"\nTLM-capturing-system needs a second RX,\nfully-controlled by software for auto\nDoppler-correction and Tracking. That is no so easy\nfor an amateur operator, which is firstly aimed to\nmake QSOs through analogue birds.\n Definitely he needs much more complicate and\nexpensive Shack, in order to be able to cover this\nrequirements.\n \n Another point of view is that, for example: \nFO-29 was in good-shape for about 10 years. Well, can\nyou tell me how many they will spend money for a\nsecond receiver + necessary equipments for\nTLM-capturing, if they know that the captured-files\nare useful just for 1-2 times per 10 years, under like\nFO-29's malfunction?\n\n Closing, I would like to say again, I'm not negative\nto this idea.
