However, if this\ncontinuous transmission goes on for 30(?) seconds, the next\ntimer will shut down the transmitter. Waiting for the tail\nto expire, when the bird is over the USA with many stations\ntrying to get in, will not work. There will always be someone\nwho keys up during the 3 second tail.\n\nSignals were loud as usual right down to the horizon. The extra\ntransmitter power will enable many new users to get on this bird.\nThanks to all of those who had a part in launching this satellite!\n\n73,\nJohn K8YSE\n\n\n\n", "attachments": [] }
