It offers four specializations:\n\n?LICEO CLASSICO, which focuses on classical studies and humanities.\n\n?LICEO SCIENTIFICO, which explores the links between humanities \n\n and scientific knowledge. \n\n?LICEO SCIENTIFICO - APPLIED SCIENCES, which offers the opportunity to \n\n acquire advanced skills in science and technology, \n\n especially in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, \n\n Biology, Earth Sciences, Information Technology \n\n and their application.\n\n?LICEO LINGUISTICO, which specializes in modern languages and cultures. \n\nAll our students, regardless of their specialization, show a keen interest in science, as demonstrated by the fact that every year many of them choose to attend university faculties in the field of scientific studies, especially Engineering (including Aerospace Engineering) and Physics. Age 14-19.\n\n \n\n \n\nParticipants will ask as many of the following questions as time allows: \n\n \n\n1. \n\n13. \n\n16. Are you thinking of modifying human cells to create human beings \n\n biologically fit for survival on other planets?\n\n2. Apart from using renewable resources, is there anything else that we \n\n can do to avoid this climate change?\n\n3. How does the psychological preparation of astronauts take place \n\n before a mission?\n\n4. What energy of the future should be used? Do you think the sun is \n\n the only energy that should be used?\n\n5. What type of pollution could space tourism produce in our region?\n\n6. Are the consequences of climate change different for each country? \n\n In your opinion which parts of the world is / are more affected?\n\n7. Why was Grottaglie chosen as a place to build the spaceport?\n\n8. Is it too late to prevent climate change?\n\n9. If the studies on tumor cells in the microgravity were to be \n\n positive, how could this condition be recreated on Earth and making \n\n it available also for the most disadvantaged people?\n\n10. Is it possible to see the CO2 emission from the space? \n\n11. What experiments on the ISS are contributing to a possible \n\n colonization of Mars? And how far is this event from us?\n\n16. Which are the human activities that affect the global warming?\n\n17. Thanks to the Grip experiment, were there any innovations in \n\n prosthetic construction?\n\n18. What changes did you observe on the planet earth from your first \n\n space journey to today?\n\n19. Thanks to the Dosis-3D monitors for passive radiation, was it \n\n possible to understand how and in what way space radiation is \n\n actually dangerous?\n\n20. In your opinion, which scenario will the future generation have to \n\n deal with?\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\nPLEASE CHECK THE FOLLOWING FOR MORE INFORMATION ON ARISS UPDATES:\n\n \n\n Visit ARISS on Facebook. In the United States, sponsors are the Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation (AMSAT), the American Radio Relay League (ARRL), the ISS National Lab and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The primary goal of ARISS is to promote exploration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) topics by organizing scheduled contacts via amateur radio between crew members aboard the ISS and students in classrooms or public forms. Before and during these radio contacts, students, educators, parents, and communities learn about space, space technologies, and amateur radio.
